Meet Chelsey, the heart and hands behind Hive to Home.

Hi! I'm Chelsey, and I'm the heart and hands behind Hive to Home. Each beeswax wrap is handmade for you by me. Nice to meet you!

I started Hive to Home because I looked in my fridge one day and saw too much single use plastic. I knew better and decided to do something different. My passion is waste, I love garbage. I have a Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University with a double major in Environmental Science and Environment, Sustainability and Society. I also completed the Master Composter Recycler course through our local municipality, HRM. I started making beeswax wraps as a solution for myself, and interest has grown organically. I use beeswax wraps every day in my home.

For the last years I've had the goal of spending 1,000 hours outside. This year I've upped it to 1,200 hours outside. Packing a lunch and spending the day in the woods is one of my favourite things to do. Beeswax wraps are a key component in that - they're lightweight and very helpful in lunches. If I'm not outside, I'm probably at home. I love crocheting, quilting, baking, cooking, and just being in my home.

Thanks for stopping by!

Chelsey
